Music Video Idea

For the music video idea, we have decided to do a narrative based music video as we feel like it would be more exciting and interesting to do because of the song. We can experiment in many different ways and be more creative on how we want to do this, how the song would end and what would happen within the music video. The song itself is very unique, and we hope to meet the aim of the original video which is strange yet enduring to watch.

At the beginning of the music video, we are going to start it with a TV showing different news stations as at the beginning of the actual song, it has a radio effect as if people are talking on the radio. Also the music video will finish with a TV on screen with it becoming black and white pixelated image which will end the song. It will then cut to a forest/park/woods type environment as the actress will be walking through and messing around singing the lyrics. Close ups of different angles of her face and where she is, having long and mid shots. As the lyrics go by, having close ups of both of the different men and trying to confuse the audience on who is who, on who is the ex of current boyfriend. Then having the camera cut to the girl yet again as she seems to at least be doing something/planning to kill her boyfriend. Showing different types of props within the music video to show suggestions on how she might do it, props such as rope, knives, chains, guns (which would be toy guns) and possibly pillows or even drowning in the bath. Showing different ways to give the audience a wider range of how she might actually do it. Showing different ways to kill her boyfriend within the music video and placing them all together.
